Our Staff

Jennifer Dexter (Noah’s Doves) attended Baptist Bible College and studied Elementary Education. After college she moved to San Jose, California where she taught 3rd grade for 5 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She and her husband moved to the Triangle in 2001 and currently live in Apex with their 3 boys. This is her 7th year at Peace Preschool. She has taught in both the Doves and Cubs classes. Mrs. Dexter loves reading, running, taking pictures, and Diet Coke.  Her favorite Bible verse is: For my thoughts are not your thoughts,nor are your ways my ways, says the LordFor as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9.

Carol Stogner (Noah’s Doves) was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  She attended North Carolina State University to study Horticulture in the 80’s. She became a Christian there, and met her husband Ron through a campus outreach Bible study.  They have been married for 30 years and have four grown children and one new granddaughter!  Carol enjoyed home schooling her first two children during grades K-5.  She has assisted and taught in several preschools in the area and helped with Sunday school classes.  She and her husband have been co-leading a church small-group for the past 5 years.  Carol loves taking walks at Bond Park, gardening, listening to classical and Christian music, studying the Bible and relaxing at the beach.  One of her favorite verses is Always be joyful.  Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

Meredith Bolt (Noah’s Doves) joined our staff in 2017. She has worked for two years with children ages 2-5 as a gymnastics teacher and birthday party planner at Sonshine Gymnastics in Holly Springs. She graduated from Holly Springs High School in 2016 and is currently in cosmetology school. The children love her youth and energy, and we love having her! Her favorite verse is “Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created,” Esther 4:14.

Anita Harris (Daniel’s Cubs) received both her B.S. and M.S. degrees from Southern University and A&M College, where she also taught computer classes. She worked in a corporate environment for ten years and then left to care for her children. She shares life and ministry with her husband Elder Willie Harris, Jr. pastor of Mt. Zion Church in Cary, NC.  Her passion for working with women and children led her to preschool work and also inspires her to work as a Wake County substitute teacher when she is not at Peace Preschool.  She enjoys reading, working with children’s ministry at her church, and early morning walks. A Scripture verse that inspires her: Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.  Hebrews 12:14.

Jen Regehr (Daniel’s Cubs) and her husband Michael have two active adult sons and one musical daughter who is a junior in high school.  Mrs. Regehr has taught for many years at Peace Preschool , including the Doves and Fish classes. She has been a member of Peace Presbyterian Church for thirteen years. She enjoys teaching preschool Sunday school classes and Children’s church at Peace Presbyterian Church and also likes reading, traveling, baking, and walking the family’s hound dog. A Scripture verse that inspires her: The human mind plans the way, but the Lord directs the steps. Proverbs 16:9.

Teresa Estep (Daniel’s Cubs) was born and raised in Louisville, KY and moved to Cary about  eight years ago.  She married her high school sweetheart (Josh) and now they have four children: Rylie (11 yrs), Kaitlyn (8 yrs), Avery (8 yrs), and Hudson (5 yrs). Mrs. Estep has a degree in architecture and worked for four years as an architect before the Lord called her and her husband into full-time ministry with college students.  Mrs. Estep loves spending time with her family, traveling, and running.  One of her favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5-6.

Jenna Kent (Peter’s Fish) moved to Cary from Atlanta  with her husband and three children.  She has a degree from the America College of Art in Graphic Design and worked in marketing and advertising before having  children.  This is her fourth year at Peace Preschool.  She enjoys, cooking, spending time outdoors with her family and reading.  A scripture verse that inspires her is Romans 8:28 – “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose”.

Yukaru Arai  (Peter’s Fish) studied Management Communication (B.A.) and graduated from Northwest Christian University in Oregon.  She and her husband lead a Japanese Bible Study for youth and her family loves to get to know people.  She has two children.  Her daughter is in 4th grade and attended Peace Preschool from Doves to Horses.  Her son, Shin,was graduated  Solomon’s Horses last year.  Mrs. Arai is  impressed  with what both of her children have learned while at our preschool.  She loves sewing her kids’ clothes and baking sweets.  She is looking forward to getting know all of children at Peace Preschool. Her theme verse for this year at Peace Preschool will be “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31.

Jennifer Lehmann (Peter’s Fish) and her husband, Colby have four children. Their youngest son was graduated from the Solomon’s Horses class year. They served as missionaries in North Africa for over seven years before the Lord called them here to plant Antioch church in Raleigh. Jennifer has a BA in Speech and Language Therapy from Baylor University. She enjoys working with children, learning languages (including Arabic!), and sharing the Gospel. Jennifer loves 1 John 3:1, “See what great love the Father has lavished onus, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”

Julie Clary (Solomon’s Horses) was born in Greensboro, NC, and moved to the Triangle to attend N.C. State University.  She received a B.A. in English Education and taught middle school for eight years before starting a family.  She and her husband, Greg, have three children:  Mollie, James, and John.  Mrs. Clary loves spending time with her family, volunteering in the community, watching college sports and creating art projects.  Her favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 11:1.

Sharyn Gibson (Solomon’s Horses) moved here from Gladstone, Australia, many years ago thinking she would be in the states only two years.  She and her husband have three grown children, and a little grandson.   With more than 20 years of experience with children, Mrs. Gibson is quickly loved by all.   She has more experience at Peace Preschool than any other teacher AND is the only teacher here to have taught in every class.  She loves many things including children, traveling, animals, card-making, the mountains, and chocolate!  She also has a deep appreciation for tea.  Her favorite Bible verse is Prov. 3:5-6.

 Suzi Primm (Music Teacher and Office Assistant) has sung with our children at Peace Preschool for many years and has also taught local Kindermusik classes. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 1982. Over the years she has sung with various choirs and praise groups, led women’s Bible studies, and helped with children’s Sunday School classes and Vacation Bible School music.  She and her husband, Tom, homeschooled their three children for many years.   A Scripture verse that inspires her (especially in this new season of her life): For nothing shall be impossible with God. Luke1:37.

Jennifer McGehee (Director) has been married to Steve for 30+ years and they have two children: Brock, a USAF fighter pilot stationed in Okinawa, and Bethany, a professional musician and piano instructor. Jennifer has a BA in Communications from the University of Oklahoma and is pursuing a Master’s level certificate in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her favorite Bible verse is Colossians 1:13-14, “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son of Light, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
